We're Hiring!

As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for someone special to join our team.

If you're passionate about knitting, crochet and building community through fibre arts, we'd love to hear from you. We're currently looking for a Part-Time Enabler to help welcome customers, inspire creativity, encourage "just one more skein," and become part of the Itty Bitty family.

The Itty Bitty Yarn Boutique is scheduled to open in late August 2026, and we're beginning the search for one special team member to help bring this new space to life.

We're looking for a friendly, community-minded fibre enthusiast who is:

🧶 Proficient in both knitting and crochet

🧶 Comfortable teaching knitting and crochet at a minimum beginner level (the ideal candidate will be able to teach beyond the basics)

🧶 Passionate about helping others learn, grow, and gain confidence in their craft

🧶 Excited to promote workshops and one-on-one learning opportunities

🧶 Interested in helping shape future educational programming through the development and facilitation of new workshops

🧶 Reliable and able to commute to Clinton year-round, including during winter weather conditions

As an important part of a small business, we rely on each other to provide exceptional service and create a welcoming experience for our customers. Reliable attendance helps ensure the boutique remains open and ready to serve our community throughout the year.

This part-time position will be approximately 2–3 days per week, including rotating Saturdays. In addition to an hourly wage, instructors receive a percentage of workshop registration fees for workshops they teach, along with an employee discount on yarn and shop merchandise.

Selected candidates will be invited for an interview and may be asked to demonstrate a knitting or crochet technique while explaining it at a beginner level. This helps us assess both technical skills and teaching ability.
