Mitred Square Blanket Workshop - Knit

Ready to grow your knitting skills while creating something beautiful? Join us for this Mitred Square Blanket Workshop, where you'll learn how simple decreases and colour changes can create stunning geometric squares that build into a cozy blanket.

This project is a great next step for knitters who already know the basics. Each square is worked individually, keeping the project small, portable, and manageable—perfect for the warmer months. It's also a fantastic way to use up yarn from your stash or experiment with new coordinating colours.

Participants will learn how to knit mitred squares and how they can be joined to create larger projects such as blankets, dishcloths, and cushions.

Workshop Details
• $40 per person
• Maximum 4 participants
• Ages 12 and over
• Materials not included
• Students receive 10% off materials purchased in the shop for this project

Choose one time:
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

The workshop is scheduled across three sessions, allowing time between classes to practice and build your squares. The third session is optional if you feel confident and well on your way with your project.

Skill Requirements
This class builds on basic knitting skills. Participants must be able to cast on and knit a basic garter stitch before attending.

Materials Needed
• Yarn from your stash or new coordinating colours
• Knitting needles appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
