Sock knitters, this one’s for you.

The Not So Secret Sock Society is a surprise sock-knitting experience designed for knitters who love making socks and want to enjoy time together, exploring new yarns and patterns — with a little mystery mixed in.

📅 Our next meeting:
October 31, 2026
Held in conjunction with the four 5th Saturdays throughout the year.  Show and Tell is encouraged at following meetings.
(Additional dates will be announced!)

🧶 How it works:
• You sign up for a Society “meeting”.  REGISTRATION IS DUE OCTOBER 10, 2026
• You show up on the designated date & time
• Your sock kit is already waiting for you
• The yarn is chosen, wound, and paired with a printed pattern, along with other goodies. 
• The surprise? You won’t know the yarn or pattern until you arrive!

🪡 Before the meeting:
You’ll be notified ahead of time what needle size and any notions to bring, so you’ll have everything you need to get started.

☕ Meeting Day Perks:
• The shop will open early
• Take advantage of 5th Saturday Specials before the shop even opens
• Time to choose your kit, get settled, and cast on
• No scrambling, no prep — just socks and good company

🧦 Important to know:
This is not a beginner “how-to” sock class. The Not So Secret Sock Society is a social knitting experience for knitters who already know the basics of sock knitting, are comfortable knitting in the round, and can follow a pattern independently.

If you’re new to sock knitting, we offer “How to Knit Socks” classes throughout the year, and we encourage you to sign up for one of those before joining the Society.
