As The Itty Bitty Yarn Co. expands into Clinton, The Not So Secret Sock Society is coming to The Itty Bitty Yarn Boutique!

Sock knitters, this one’s for you.

The Not So Secret Sock Society is a surprise sock-knitting experience designed for knitters who love making socks, exploring new yarns and patterns, and spending time together—with a little mystery mixed in.

📅 Our Meetings

Society meetings are held in conjunction with the four 5th Saturdays throughout the year. Show and Tell is encouraged at the following meeting so we can admire everyone’s finished—or still-in-progress—socks.

Remaining dates to participate:  Saturday August 29  (register by end of day August 22nd)  and Saturday October 31 (register by October 17th)

🧶 How It Works

• Register for a Society meeting.  If you choose to particpate Remote, your kit will ship from the Mitchell location.  
• Registration is due by the dates stated above..
• In-person participants will receive an order-fulfilment notification shortly after registering. This is confirmation that your place has been reserved.
• Remote kits will be mailed before the meeting date.
• Your kit will include carefully selected yarn, wound and ready to use, a printed sock pattern, and a few extra goodies.
• The surprise? You won’t know which yarn or pattern you’ll receive until the kits are revealed!

🪡 Before the Meeting

You’ll be notified in advance of the needle size and any notions you’ll need to bring, so you can arrive ready to get started.

☕ Meeting-Day Perks

• The boutique will open early at 9:30 a.m.
• Society members can take advantage of the 5th Saturday specials before regular shop hours begin.
• Choose your kit, get settled, and cast on with the group.
• No scrambling and no preparation—just socks, surprises, and good company.

🧦 Important to Know

This is not a beginner “how to knit socks” class.

The Not So Secret Sock Society is a social knitting experience for knitters who already understand the basics of sock construction, are comfortable knitting in the round, and can follow a pattern independently.

New to sock knitting? We offer will be offering How to Knit Socks workshops, once the shop is open. encourage you to complete one before joining the Society.

✨ Remote participation is available.
✨ Mystery is encouraged.
