Sock knitters, this one’s for you.

The Not So Secret Sock Society is a surprise sock-knitting experience designed for knitters who love making socks and want to enjoy time together, exploring new yarns and patterns — with a little mystery mixed in.

📅 Our meetings: Meeting will be held in conjunction with the four 5th Saturdays throughout the year.  Show and Tell is encouraged at following meetings.
(Additional dates will be announced!)  

🧶 How it works:
• You sign up for a Society “meeting”.  REGISTRATION IS DUE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE.   This is for REMOTE Participation
• Your kit will be mailed out, the week of the event, as a remote participant. 

• You kit will inclued: the yarn is chosen and wound for you, a printed pattern, along with other goodies.
•  No scrambling, no prep — just socks.
• The surprise? You won’t know the yarn or pattern until you open  your kit.  All kits are distributed randomly.

🪡 Before the meeting:
You’ll be notified ahead of time what needle size and any notions to bring, so you’ll have everything you need to get started.

🧦 Important to know:
This is not a beginner “how-to” sock class. The Not So Secret Sock Society is a social knitting experience for knitters who already know the basics of sock knitting, are comfortable knitting in the round, and can follow a pattern independently.

If you’re new to sock knitting, we offer “How to Knit Socks” classes throughout the year, and we encourage you to sign up for one of those before joining the Society.
